VANS Whether it’s a van for transporting loved ones or a van converted for the handicapped driver, Independent Lifestyles offers a huge selection of brand new AND used vans from mini-van style to the full size cargo vans and buses. Each unit is uniquely modified to accommodate a wide variety of situations. At any given time, Independent Lifestyles will have up to 100 vans to choose from. Or we can modify your own van with lifts, ramps, raised roofs, lowered floors, hand controls, remote entry and other equipment to accommodate the most demanding handicap needs. Rental units from unmodified vans to pickup trucks are always available, too.

RAMPS Let our technicians measure your home entry for access ramps that can be a temporary or permanent addition to your home. Within a few days to a couple of weeks, Independent Lifestyles can measure, build and install your new ramp to suit your mobility needs. All ramps are rated to hold up to rugged demands of wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters. We stock portable ramps, roll-up ramps, threshold ramps and can outfit you in a matter of minutes. Renting may be a great option for temporary injuries.

ELEVATORS & STAIRLIFTS When confined to home, our customers are satisfied with being able to make their way around by the use of custom designed and installed elevators and stairlifts to take them to various levels in their homes or take them in and out the home. Inside or outside, elevators and lifts meet the rigors of weather and heavy use. Commercial units are available for nursing and retirement communities. Rent, too.

POWER CHAIRS & SCOOTERS Having the ability to enjoy all that life has to offer often times means being able to go places. Using a scooter for the mildly handicapped, or a full power chair for the most disabled, Independent Lifestyles knows how to outfit you with the latest and most comfortable transportation designed with dignity and durability in mind. Confidence in the equipment is a given when you deal with Independent Lifestyles. We’ll even help you with medical claims and entitlements. We also have used units that are clean, and in top shape available for those individuals that cannot qualify for other programs. Often times, a used unit is a better answer to get a great deal and excellent value. Our customers rent them for vacation, or to try before they buy.
